SEWER SCREAMS July 2026 public prototype

The playable Kumis Studios build this wiki is written against — early, loud, and still waiting on a major run update.

July 2026 Prototype Notes

SEWER SCREAMS went up on Roblox on March 16, 2026. The listed update this unofficial wiki treats as the public snapshot is July 21, 2026. Kumis Studios (poison_kumis) is shipping an early public prototype, not a finished campaign. A major run update is in development. This page is the freeze-frame: what the July-era build is, what players are actually doing in it, and what we refuse to pad into fake patch notes.

If you need the next-drop tracker, that is the run update page. The parent is the updates hub. Gameplay still starts at Getting Started.

What “public prototype” means here

Playable on Roblox. Survival/Escape genre tag. Servers sized for 24 players. Visit count on the order of 51.6 million with about 222 thousand favorites — numbers that explain the fake-code industry, not a claim that the design is done.

The loop in this snapshot:

  • Endless liminal sewers.
  • Clown-like entity to flee, not to duel.
  • Retrieve the lost.
  • Currency you may collect when it is safe.
  • Red balloons you must not touch.
  • Water-drip audio near exits.
  • Revives as a run resource.
  • Every ten levels, ASCEND or GO DEEPER.
  • Respect and a leaderboard as the reason deeper exists.
  • Headphones and high graphics recommended.
  • Flashing lights and loud noises as part of the design.

That list is the July prototype. It is also the whole design document this wiki is willing to stand on. How to play expands the loop. Controls refuses unique keybinds because this build still runs on default Roblox movement plus prompts.

What July 21 is not

It is not a promise that every sewer tile is frozen forever. Prototypes move. It is not a version number Kumis Studios printed on a Trello — this wiki has no verified Trello. It is not a codes launch. How to redeem and where to find codes stay empty-state as of September 2026.

It is not a scripts season. Working scripts has no dedicated list.

It is not a reason to write the game as a finished 1.0. Facts for this site say early-access. The honest verbs are playable, public prototype, in development for the next run layer.

Community videos from this period show long climbs (including into the twenties), co-op sessions, and at least one cat. Those are observations. They are not patch notes. The walkthrough uses them for pacing only.

How to play this snapshot instead of a future one

Assume the hunter still owns tunnels. Assume balloons still delete greed. Assume drip still matters, so graphics and audio is part of patch literacy. Assume the fork is still binary — ascend or go deeper — until the run update says otherwise.

Assume 24-player online co-op, not split-screen. Solo and co-op is written against this server size.

Assume Respect has no public formula. Respect will not invent one just because the July build has a board.

If a creator overlay shows a feature you do not have after joining place 112857282410969, believe your client. Overlays lie. The official experience URL is the patch you actually have.

Why this wiki dates the prototype

Without a date, readers treat every horror Roblox page as eternal. Dating the snapshot to July 21, 2026 does two jobs: it tells you which guides hub advice is current, and it tells you to re-read after the run update ships. Fan tier listssurvival priority and run choices — are July-logic rankings. They should be argued with after a real patch, not after a rumor.

Community links is where we keep repeating that Discord and Trello are unverified. If someone claims “July hotfix notes” live only in an invite, they are selling the invite.

Use the pre-run checklist as if this build will still scream at you tomorrow. Until Kumis Studios replaces it, that is the correct paranoia.

Freeze-frame closer

Created March 16. Listed update July 21. Public prototype. 24-player sewers. Entity, balloons, drip, retrieve, ten-level fork, Respect. No codes list. No scripts list. No verified Discord or Trello. Major run update not here yet. If a sentence on this wiki disagrees with that freeze-frame, the freeze-frame wins until a new dated page says otherwise. That is the entire July 2026 notes file — short on fantasy, long on the build you can actually join.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

When was SEWER SCREAMS created and last listed as updated?

Created March 16, 2026. This wiki treats July 21, 2026 as the public-prototype snapshot. A major run update is still in development.

Is the July build a finished release?

No. It is an early public prototype playable on Roblox. Do not read it as a shipped 1.0 campaign.

Did the July update add promo codes?

No codes are listed as of September 2026. Check the codes hub if that changes.

Where do I track the next big change?

On the run update page and the updates hub. Ignore unverified Trello screenshots.
