SEWER SCREAMS Respect in the public prototype
The score that makes GO DEEPER tempting — and the reason sloppy wipes feel expensive.
Respect is the run score SEWER SCREAMS players chase. In the Kumis Studios public prototype on Roblox, you flee a clown-like entity through liminal sewers, retrieve the lost, and every ten levels choose ASCEND or GO DEEPER. Going deeper is how people push Respect and the leaderboard. This unofficial wiki will say that loudly and then stop before inventing a formula, a multiplier table, or a hidden stat the studio has not published.
If you came here from a thumbnail that promised “max Respect in minutes,” you want how to play and ascend or go deeper, not a cheat string. There are no listed promo codes as of September 2026. There are no dedicated scripts to farm the board. Solo and co-op is the sibling page for how 24-player servers change the chase, not the score math.
What Respect is (and is not)
Respect is not a character, a game pass this page will invent, or a redeemable code. It is the reason the fork exists. ASCEND banks a night. GO DEEPER asks whether you want more of the score enough to keep headphones on through another block of flashing lights and loud screams.
We can observe, from play and from community videos:
- Longer, cleaner runs are how people talk about climbing the board.
- Deaths, balloon touches, and wasted revives are how people talk about stalling.
- Co-op can help you retrieve the lost faster or can scatter you into two wipes. Help is not a published group multiplier.
We cannot observe a patch note that says “balloon touch = minus X.” Until Kumis Studios posts that, do not balance your night around a spreadsheet someone made in chat.
The players hub is the parent. The tier list hub is where Respect sits as a B-tier thought during a chase and an A-tier thought at the fork. That ranking is fan-made on survival priority and run choices.
How to play as if Respect matters without lying to yourself
Play clean blocks. That is the whole strategy.
- Getting Started: headphones, official place, default Roblox movement, no invented binds.
- First ten levels: retrieve the lost, skip balloons, hear drip near exits, collect currency only when the lane is quiet.
- Fork: if the block was sloppy, ASCEND. If it was boring in the good way, GO DEEPER.
- Next ten: same loop, less sightseeing. The walkthrough is pacing, not a map.
- Stop when drip audio turns to ringing. A leaderboard line you cannot hear the pipes for is a wasted line.
Currency pickups probably feed whatever the HUD is counting. This page still ranks them below balloons and below revives. A rich corpse is not a Respect strategy.
Revives protect a run that was already scoring. They do not print score by themselves. Spend them on the objective, then change pipe, as survive the entity describes.
Leaderboard etiquette in a 24-player sewer
Shared servers mean you can see other names doing well and doing poorly at the same time. Do not:
- Steal a retrieve out from under someone and then blame them for “killing the run.” The lost is a loop objective, not a PvP token this wiki will invent.
- Drag a party deeper for your board when they asked to ASCEND.
- Spam chat with fake codes or Discord invites. This wiki has no verified Discord or Trello. Community links explains why that spam exists.
- Demand a teammate install an executor so you can climb. Working scripts is empty on purpose.
Do:
- Call the fork.
- Call a balloon string.
- Leave quietly if you ASCEND and they do not. Their Respect night is theirs.
What will not raise Respect
- Typing strings into a missing redeem box. See how to redeem.
- Hunting a cat from a video. Atmosphere unless prompted.
- Maxing graphics mid-chase. Do that on graphics and audio before spawn.
- Waiting for the major run update as if it already shipped a new score system. It is in development. The July 2026 prototype is still the public reference.
Respect is a reason to play well, not a reason to play cruel. The entity is already cruel enough. The guides hub teaches the verbs that make the board move. This page’s only extra job is to keep you from inventing math, and to send you back to the fork when ego gets loud.
Board-night closer
If you want Respect, want another clean ten, not a miracle. Confirm balloons are boring. Confirm drip is audible. Confirm the party clicked the same option. Then GO DEEPER. If any of those three wobbles, ASCEND and post a smaller number you actually earned. The leaderboard will still be there on the next public-prototype session. A balloon will also still be there, and it does not care about your rank.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
How is Respect calculated?
Kumis Studios has not published a formula this wiki will repeat. Treat Respect as run score tied to going deeper, not as a known equation.
Do I have to go deeper to get Respect?
Deeper is how players push the board. ASCEND still banks a run. See ascend or go deeper.
Does co-op give a Respect multiplier?
Not a documented one. Co-op changes routing and noise. Read solo and co-op.
Can codes or scripts boost Respect?
No listed codes, no dedicated scripts. Using injectors is account risk and is not a leaderboard strategy.
Should I chase the board on my first night?
No. Learn the loop on how to play first. A first-hour deeper push is how balloon deaths get expensive.
